Bodyshop Magazine is thrilled to welcome Lisa Shaw to the team as its new Head of Marketing. With a diverse and impressive career, Lisa brings a wealth of experience to the automotive aftermarket publication and IBIS Worldwide, the global leader in collision repair market conferences.
Lisa's journey in marketing began at BASF, where she spent eight years crafting impactful campaigns for RM and Glasurit brands. Her responsibilities extended to event management, brand advertising, and industry engagement, including the sponsorship of the Bodyshop Awards. In 2016, she ventured into the science, technology, and engineering sectors, working at Sci-Tech Daresbury and BAE Systems Digital Intelligence for a decade. Now, she's back in the automotive world, full circle.
'This return represents a full-circle moment in my career,' Lisa shared. 'I'm excited to reconnect with familiar faces, build new relationships, and help shape the future of two respected industry brands.'
Robert Snook, IBIS conference director, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, 'Attracting someone of Lisa's calibre into the business is a great endorsement of our strategy and ambition across both Bodyshop Magazine and IBIS.'
This appointment is a significant step forward, offering new and unlimited brand positioning and collaboration opportunities for partners. It's a clear call to action for UK and International partners to connect with Lisa and leverage the increased value for delegates attending events in 2026.
But here's where it gets interesting. Lisa's background in science, technology, and engineering brings a unique perspective to the automotive industry. How will her diverse experiences shape the future of Bodyshop Magazine and IBIS? Will her marketing expertise, combined with her scientific background, revolutionize the way we approach automotive marketing? And this is the part most people miss... The potential for innovation and disruption is immense. Will Lisa's appointment spark a new era of collaboration between the automotive and tech sectors? We can't wait to see what the future holds.
